Somewhere along the way, a good routine came to mean a long one. Cleanse, tone, essence, serum, eye cream, moisturiser, oil, mist. It photographs beautifully. It is also the reason so many people quietly give up by Wednesday.

We think the interesting question is not how many steps you can add, but how much a single step can carry.

Why we started with a balm

A stick is an unglamorous format with a very practical advantage: it goes where you go. It does not leak in a handbag, it does not need a mirror, and it does not need clean hands. It can be used at a desk, in a car, on a plane, in the ninety seconds before a meeting.

That portability is what let us build a genuinely multi-purpose product. One balm across under-eyes, smile lines, forehead, cheeks, lips and neck. One step instead of three, applied at the moment skin actually needs it rather than the moment your routine says so.

What we believe about formulas

• Intentional. Every ingredient is there for a reason we can explain in one sentence.
• Desirable. If an object is beautiful, it gets used. That is not vanity, it is adherence.
• Easy. The best routine is the one that survives a difficult week.
• Ingredient-led. We start from what an ingredient does, not from what a category is selling.
• Honest. We would rather say we do not know yet than borrow someone else's claim.

What comes next

The balm is the beginning of the range, not the whole of it. Serums, moisturisers, eye products, masks, cleansers and sun care are all territory this brand is built to move into. We will add each one only when it earns its place.
